We're thrilled to announce the launch of the South Hills chapter of the JewQ International Torah Championship!
Kids in the South Hills now have the exciting opportunity to join thousands of Jewish children from around the world as they master the fundamentals of Jewish knowledge.
Here’s how the program works:
- When your child signs up, they’ll receive a copy of Living Jewish, a colorful and engaging textbook that covers all the essentials of living a Jewish life.
- Each grade will study a different section of the book and take three tests to showcase their knowledge.
- Fun online review games help kids prepare for the material, and a prize is awarded after each test to celebrate their achievements.
- Contestants will also have the chance to participate in a local and regional championship to further celebrate their hard work and learning.
Children who achieve at least a 70% average across all three tests will be invited to the highly anticipated CKids Shabbaton in New York. This unforgettable weekend will culminate with our top champion competing live on stage at the JewQ International Championship!
While children will learn the material during JewQ Club meetings, we believe that a significant part of the learning happens at home. We encourage families to set aside at least 20 minutes each week for review, and kids can also take advantage of fun online games to help them master the concepts.
