JDC Mezuzah Campaign!

It sometimes feels like the world is getting darker - and not just because the clocks have changed. The Jewish people are facing some of the most challenging times of our lifetimes, in Israel and in many countries around the world.

As Jews, our approach is always to fight darkness by adding in light. When things go dark, we go “bright”! And I’m very excited to share that our Jewish Discovery Club is taking part in a worldwide campaign for Hebrew School families to add in light and Jewish pride by affixing a mezuzah on the doorposts of our homes.

From now until November 30th, if you pledge to put up a mezuzah on your front door or on a child’s bedroom door, you can sign up to get a handwritten mezuzah scroll!

As your child will be learning at JDC, a mezuzah is not just decor - it’s a powerful sign of our faith and identity as Jews, connecting us to G-d and to each other. Adding a mezuzah in your home is a beautiful symbol of connection to our Jewish heritage, and invites Hashem’s blessings and protection into your home.
